Troy graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Humanities (Honours) where he developed a rich awareness of the complexity of human experience and obtained the ability to synthesize elaborate texts to produce concise and valuable content.

Troy’s experience is heavily tied to the not-for-profit sector with an emphasis on digital marketing and strategic planning. As the Co-Director and Marketing Lead for an Entrepreneurship Incubator in Ottawa, he worked with student startups to help them determine their value proposition, create a defensive business model, and especially help them.

Troy supports NSWOCC as Membership and Communications Manager through his previous experience with organizations like the Orléans Chamber of Commerce where he managed a membership of over 200 as the main liaison between members and the organization, and Wheelchair Basketball Canada as a member of a Communications team where he developed a keen ability to produce polished communications material like infographics, media releases, newsletters, videos, and more.
