  4. Consider potential treatment needs to overcome delayed healing

Presented by Breda Cullen, PhD

Breda has a PhD in Biochemistry from the Queen’s University of Belfast in Northern Ireland. Her research focus has been understanding proteases in disease and the wound environment in nonhealing wounds. Breda has worked in industry for over 25 years continuing to advance clinical and scientific knowledge in the field of wound care. This has led to over 30 patents, and over 75 scientific publications and posters. During her career she has been responsible for initiating, leading and supporting scientific and clinical research & development, most notably for providing key scientific support for PROMOGRAN PRISMA for which she was awarded the Johnson Medal, the highest scientific award within Johnson and Johnson. Today she is an independent consultant, providing scientific and clinical expertise as well as education globally on the science of wound healing.
